Perfect Design - Thonet No. 14

In August 2015 "PERFEKTES DESIGN - THONET NR.14" was published by Kerber Verlag. This book contains the results of years of research in the history of Thonet's bentwood furniture and the latest findings on its development; for the first time also tables, with the help of which the age of each Thonet chair can be exactly determined.

The book was already sold out after a few months, but copies can still be purchased directly from the author.

Parts of the exhibition at the Roentgen-Museum "FurnitureDesign - Roentgen Thonet and the Modernism" are available on YouTube.
The exhibition was used by the famous film critic Wolfgang M. Schmitt, jr. as a backdrop for the analysis of three films of the Coen brothers. Take a look inside and be surprised.
